IEE appoints new CEO
Luxembourg-based sensing specialist IEE S.A announced the appointment of Michel Witte as the new Chief Executive Officer of the IEE Group. Michel Witte, who was one of the founders of IEE and the company’s Chief Operating Officer, replaces outgoing CEO Hubert Jacobs van Merlen who stepped down earlier this month. Company Chairman Guangrong Han said that Michel Witte’s excellent business skills, industry background and experience with the company made him the ideal person to take on the role. “Michel Witte was one of the founders of the company 24 years ago, so he knows IEE in and out,” he says. “He is also well-respected within the industry.
