Marriott Hotels announces the appointment of Rex Nijhof as General Manager of the Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa, due to open in Q4 2024. The opening of this anticipated hotel is a milestone in Marriott International's growth in Luxembourg as it marks the debut of the Marriott Hotels brand in the country.
After graduating from Florida International University, Rex Nijhof joined Marriott in early 1991 as a Minibar Supervisor at the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel. From there, he moved around the world in his career with Marriott International, being involved with 17 hotels in different countries.
