Both the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) are looking into Open Finance. Policymakers, on both sides of the Channel, have expressed their intention to frame the opening of financial data. The definition of such a framework, the development of data exchange standards as well as the speed of concrete adoption by industry stakeholders will be key to determine the success of these initiatives, both locally and internationally.
