My name is Interim Manager !
The Interim Manager is often perceived as a consultant. His role is not always well understood. Even within the professional community or from a country to another, the definition varies. In Europe, the concept started in the UK and the Netherlands few years ago. Usually called for an executive function, the interim manager brings a large variety of background. The Executive Interim Manager (EIM) has spent the major part of his career on top management: managing director, COO, business development manager, board level… At some point of his career, the EIM decided to move away from a traditional employee-employer relationship to offer his long experience in a B2B (business-to-business) partnership.
