Tax update for Securitization vehicles

However, securitization special purpose entities (SSPEs), i.e., companies falling under the EU Regulation 2017/2402 of 12 December 2017, will continue to benefit from an exemption from the rules for at least another year.   This exemption has been criticized by the European Commission, and on 9 March 2022, the Luxembourg Minister of Finance submitted a draft law to the Luxembourg Parliament to include securitization companies covered by the Regulation within the scope of the interest limitation rules.   ...
