Why has Tareno (Luxembourg) S.A. launched another fund, the Value-Opportunity Equities Fund?
We are asset managers for institutional and private investors and as part of this activity we have been offering index enhanced funds since 2005. Notwithstanding, many clients wanted us to do stock-picking for their managed portfolios. In order to verify if we could offer added value in this perspective, we have monitored our stock-picking for the last five years and we observed positively that we managed to beat the MSCI World and MSCI Europe indices by a nice margin during the past year, as well as over a three and five year period.
