Securitisation in Luxembourg continues to be promising
By Alexander BÄHN and Markus ZENZ, PwC Luxembourg   For the second time in a row, PwC has launched a survey on the Luxembourg securitisation market including the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.   Creation of multiple compartments as a unique selling point   The survey pointed out that one of the main advantages of Luxembourg for securitisation is the legal possibility to create multiple compartments. 90% of the respondents mainly serve multi-compartment vehicles, with almost two thirds of these vehicles having between two and 10 active compartments and a quarter between 11 and 50 active compartments, some even several hundreds.
