On the 27th of May 2020, the European Commission adopted a proposal for a major EU recovery plan in the wake of economic damage brought about by the global outbreak of Covid-19. As part of this recovery plan, large investments will be made in cybersecurity in order to increase Member States’ capabilities in this domain and boost the EU’s overall cybersecurity capability.
