The firm’s Board of Directors has confirmed the appointment of Claude Marx as its Chief Executive Officer on 15 May 2014. Marx took over as interim head of the company in December 2013. He joined Lombard International Assurance in 2011 as Executive Director after 17 years with HSBC Private Bank in Luxembourg where he was deputy Chief Executive Officer. Commenting on the appointment, Claude Marx said: "I am delighted to take on the role. With our continued investment in key areas such as wealth structuring, product development and unquoted assets, we are ideally positioned to work closely with our partners to provide holistic wealth planning solutions for their clients across our 14 markets".
