Interview with Per Noesgaard, CEO Sparinvest: "The UCITS IV directive has been beneficial for the company"
Founded in Denmark in 1968, Sparinvest is an independent asset management boutique specialising in Value investing and other academically-proven long-term investment strategies. In 2001, the company decided to expand strategically into the European market and founded a Luxembourg subsidiary to offer its products across European borders to a wider client base. In 2011, Sparinvest moved its headquarters to Luxembourg. According to company CEO, Per Noesgaard, working with the UCITS IV directive has been beneficial for the company.   What are the most significant changes in your business due to the UCITS IV directive?   PN: If I consider where Sparinvest was three years ago, the complex company structure was not doing us any favours.
