On 29 June 2023, the French competition authority, the Autorité de la concurrence, issued a 200-page report following its market study on competition in the cloud sector, i.e., all shared on demand, paid-per-use services accessible via the Internet as well as some of the underlying infrastructures (e.g., data centres).
