Luxembourg first member state to launch a certification mechanism under the GDPR

By doing so, Luxembourg has become the first country to give the opportunity to data controllers and processors established on its territory (incl. public authorities) to benefit from a certification under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) for specific processing activities.
