DLA Piper strengthens tax offering in Luxembourg with new hire

DLA Piper announces the appointment of Julie Hecklen as counsel in its Tax practice, based in Luxembourg. This appointment continues the busy period for DLA Piper’s Tax group in Luxembourg, following the appointment earlier this year of partner Jacques Wantz and associates Emre Akan and Olwenn Goasdoué. Julie Hecklen specialises in tax advice to private equity funds and international groups relating to private equity transactions, regulated and unregulated investment structures as well as European real estate investments. She also has a strong focus on estate planning and wealth structuring advice to UHNWI, family offices and private banks. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Julie Hecklen worked at Allen & Overy for more than ten years and also at a private bank in Luxembourg.
