Internship regulation (bill 7265): Closing the loophole
By Christophe ERNZEN Laurie LOUGSAMI, Allen Overy Luxembourg   For employers, the 2019 summer holidays might be the last holidays during which they can occupy interns on a relatively unregulated basis. Indeed, the bill of law 7265 (the Bill) which is currently being debated in the Luxembourg Parliament, aims at providing a legal framework to both mandatory internships and voluntary internships.   It is interesting to note that the Bill was drafted jointly by the Labour Ministry and the main Luxembourg students’ association ACEL (Association des cercles d’étudiants luxembourgeois), thus one of the parties that will mainly be impacted by such legislative changes.   Current legal framework   ...
