Crypto-technologies developments are generating interests into financial systems about the innovative potential of distributed consensus ledgers
By Antonio RESTIVO Vincent JEUNET, Kurt Salmon   The Blockchain world is attracting more and more attention of banks and investors as an intelligent mechanism that can be adopted also outside the scope in which he was born.   Until now, the most significant expression of crypto-technologies has been the crypto-currency Bitcoin. The proof on the importance of this topic is that regulatory institutions in Europe, such as the European Banking Authority, have recently issued reports on crypto-technologies. Also the European central bank, in the context of Target2 Securities, underlined the importance of evaluating technologies like blockchain for the different services offered into the banking community (payments, securities and guarantees regulation)....
