Communications in the Downturn
Recent figures show most of Europe is officially out of recession. While this is good news for businesses and consumers alike, the next few months will be critical for ensuring the region begins to recover and grow. Yet, despite the positive news, it is inevitable the downturn has left its mark. Recent research commissioned by Avaya finds that throughout the downturn, businesses across Europe have let communication standards fall, with 55 percent of companies admitting that internal communications have deteriorated, 52 percent acknowledging that customer communications have suffered and 41 percent claiming that the communications they’ve received from suppliers have worsened.
