The EU Better Regulation is the European Commission’s regulatory approach for the design and evaluation of policies and legislation and aims at to design EU legislation and policies in a way to achieve their objectives at a minimum cost. The main aim of the Better Regulation approach is to ensure that EU actions are evidence-based, EU legislation is improved, simple, streamlined and transparent as well as involving citizens’, businesses’ and stakeholders’ opinions.
