Alternatives, sustainable finance & pensions (Key priorities for ALFI in 2020)
The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) sets out its main priorities for 2020 focused on four main themes: alternative investments, sustainable investments, pension funds and digitalisation of the fund industry. In addition, ALFI outlines its position on upcoming regulations and reviews as well as Brexit and distribution.   Alternative investments   Alternative investments offer a compelling proposition as institutional investors’ search for yield and lowly correlated asset classes continues in this negative interest rate environment. The alternative investment fund industry will more than double in size during the next five years according to Preqin who projects global assets under management of USD 14.0 trillion by 2023....
