The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI or the Association) celebrated the fifth anniversary of the opening of its Asia Represen-tative Office in Hong Kong at the Association's annual roadshow in the region. Asia has become the main non-European market for UCITS funds, totalling approximately 62% of total UCITS registrations outside of Europe.
Luxembourg's position as the international fund centre of reference continues to grow in Asia, with 215, 148 and 371 registrations respectively, attending ALFI's financial seminars in Tokyo, Tapei and Hong Kong in December.
