HSBC announces the appointment of Stephanie Legrand as Chief Risk Officer. Stephanie Legrand replaces Thomas de Montmarin who was appointed Chief Risk Officer at HSBC Oman. Stephanie Legrand has a Business Engineering Master. She is a risk specialist with over 16 years’ experience in risk management for retail and private banks, insurance companies, European institutions and investment funds. She started her career in a Belgian retail bank as a credit risk modeller for two years, before moving to Luxembourg as a consultant in risk management, then joining an insurance company. Stephanie Legrand joined HSBC in Luxembourg in 2018 as a Senior Risk Manager and was deputy CRO for the last year.
