Asset managers can no longer ignore the major impact of ESG on their future strategy. ESG expectations are continuously intensifying along the investment value chain, starting from investors and ending with each investment’s impact. And society at large increasingly demands every company in every industry to show some serious efforts around their own ESG-related actions. If this wasn’t reason enough, new rules will soon force asset managers to be more transparent about their ESG agenda so that investors and society can judge if these efforts match their expectations.
