In 2023, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) rendered four decisions on the right of access, one of the data subject rights enshrined in the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), which seeks to ensure a high level of protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons with regard to the processing of their personal data.
