What the pandemic taught me about global warming (and why I am still worrying)

By Arnaud BACROS, General Manager Dell Technologies BeLux The latest report of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), published at the end of October, has brought us back to reality. The latest climate promises for 2030 keep the world on track for a temperature rise this century of at least 2.7°C. As we all know, we should stay below 1.5°C. The agreement that was reached during COP26 conference in Glasgow in November, didn't close that gap. Although more than 3,000 companies have signed the 'Race to Zero' business commitment, I am still worried that we will miss the window of opportunity ... Lessons from the pandemic My concern is based on the lessons we learned from the pandemic....
