Candover: Significant growth in European private equity market as larger buyouts return EUR23.9bn of private equity deals in Q3, the highest quarterly value since Q2 2008

Preliminary figures released in the Q3 2010 unquote” Private Equity Barometer* (published by unquote” and sponsored by Candover**, a European private equity house) European Private Equity - The total value of European Private Equity backed transactions reached EUR23.9bn in Q3 2010, close to the total value amassed in the entire first half of the year and the highest quarterly value figure recorded since the second quarter of 2008.
