On 26 March 2024, Minister of Defence, Minister for Mobility and Public Works, Yuriko Backes, together with NSPA General Manager, Stacy Cummings, led the groundbreaking ceremony to inaugurate the construction of two administrative buildings for the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) headquarters in Capellen.
This construction is part of the Strategic Infrastructure Programme, a multi-phased construction and modernisation programme stretching over the next few years and aiming at developing the infrastructure of the Agency's facilities in Luxembourg, to support NSPA's growth and make the site more environmentally friendly.
