Clearstream, the international central securities depository (ICSD) of Deutsche Börse Group, expands its international coverage by opening a new domestic link to Colombia on 19 November 2018. The link will help foreign investors to access the local market and enables Clearstream to offer settlement of government debt, corporate bonds and equities. BNP Paribas Securities Services will act as cash agent bank and local custodian.
Colombia will be Clearstream’s 58th domestic link. The link establishes a connection to the Colombian market and affirms Clearstream’s leading position as an ICSD in terms of market coverage.
