LU-CIX is proud to announce that a major European institution is now a member of its community: the European Commission. The Commission is the European body which helps to shape the European Union's (EU) overall strategy, proposes new EU laws and policies, monitors their implementation, and manages the EU budget. It also plays a significant role in supporting international development and delivering aid. The departments and executive agencies of the Commission are based in Brussels and in Luxembourg.
