Interview with Nigel Jenkins, managing director at Payden Rygel, a global asset management firm. Mr Jenkins is based in London   Q: From a macro level, how do you see the global bond markets playing out for the rest of the year?   Nigel Jenkins: It's a much better year than last year and cash rates are higher now. We believe we could see stronger returns later in the year. Looking at the global aggregate index, for example, a global investment grade benchmark that’s hedged back to dollars, it is a little bit behind cash to this point.
