Luxembourg for Finance recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with its Hong Kong counterpart, the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). The cooperation agreement, which came into effect on 17 April, sets out a framework facilitating collaboration between the two financial centres.
Chairman of the FSDC, Laurence Li SC, noted that “the signing of the MoU marks another important step in our efforts to promote the development of the financial services industry in Hong Kong, as well as forging a stronger partnership between Hong Kong and Luxembourg.”
The joint commitments include the exchange of best practices and knowledge between LFF and FSDC in areas of mutual interest. This includes actions to promote their respective markets, as well...
