ABBL: The Luxembourg Freeport, a game changer for the Luxembourg financial centre

On 28 November, the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL) and Natural Le Coultre Luxembourg S.A. organised an information session on the Luxembourg Freeport, in the presence of Minister of Finance Luc Frieden. We talked to David Arendt, Managing Director of Natural Le Coultre Luxembourg, about this strategic project and its benefits for the financial centre.   Mr Arendt, can you tell us a bit about the Freeport, particularly its location?   Construction started a few weeks ago, but before we could start, 140’000 cubic meters of earth had to be removed.
