XBRL Europe: Marc Hemmerling elected new chairman, Serge De Cillia confirmed as auditor

On 21 September 2010, XBRL Europe a.i.s.b.l., the non for profit association grouping 10 national XBRL jurisdictions and 5 direct members, held its general assembly in Paris. Following the statutory election, XBRL Europe will henceforth be chaired by Marc Hemmerling (ABBL), Secretary General of XBRL Luxembourg. The other members of the Executive Committee are Vice-chairman Jean-Luc Menda (XBRL France), Luc Dufresne (XBRL Belgium), Toni Fragnito (XBRL International) and Sebastián Muriel (XBRL Spain). Gilles Maguet has been nominated as Secretary General of XBRL Europe. The assembly also confirmed Serge de Cillia (ABBL), Chairman of XBRL Luxembourg and Norbert Flickinger (XBRL Germany) as auditors.
