MRV COMMUNICATIONS, INC., a leading supplier of optical communication systems and related networking equipment, today announced that Luxembourg Telecom has elected to expand its nationwide Data Center services over a scalable and reliable low-latency fiber optic network powered by MRV. Earlier this year, MRV announced that Luxembourg telecom had selected MRV’s LambdaDriver® wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) & optical transport system to build a high-speed fiber optic ring network to connect all of its data centers in Luxembourg. Luxembourg Telecom is the country’s first provider of countrywide data center interconnect services at speeds up to 10 Gigabits per second (Gbps).
