Private Equity on the path to recovery but challenges are looming on the horizon

The growing Merger and Acquisition (MA) activity and increasing levels of fund raising are clear signs that the Private Equity (PE) industry is on the path to recovery. Yet, at the dawn of a fiscal climate change, triggered by major regulations like BEPS, FATCA and the automatic exchange of information, the road ahead is likely to be bumpy. This context provided the backdrop for the 12th Private Equity Forum, organised by PwC Luxembourg on 18 December 2013 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
