Cargolux announced today that the Company is introducing two new flights that are bridging continents faster than ever before. Flight CV 8923 starting on 19 October 2011 is one of the Companys longest routings with a total of 75 block hours and 10 sectors, combining Asia-Transpacific with USA-Australia-USA services. CV 8923 is operated every Wednesday evening at 19:00 out of Luxembourg, with arrival in Hong Kong on the next day at 16:00. The flight then reaches New York the same day at 23:45 and Chicago on Thursday at 03:00. The flight leaves the USA and continues to Sydney, reaching the Australian metropolis at 15:40 on Saturday afternoon before flying back to the USA, arriving in Los Angeles the same day at 14:30 and in Chicago at 22:25.
