HSBC Luxembourg is supporting two local charities that help vulnerable individuals and families amidst the difficulties caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. The bank is donating a total of USD 30,000 to HELP, a local network focusing on home health care especially for the elderly and vulnerable, and to Femmes en Détresse, a local association protecting women and their children especially against domestic violence.
The donation is part of the global USD 25 million COVID-19 donation fund that HSBC Group recently announced to support the international medical response to the pandemic, protect vulnerable people and ensure food security around the world.
