Euroclear announce that Valérie Urbain has been selected by the Board as the successor to Lieve Mostrey as its Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Having now received the relevant regulatory approvals, Lieve Mostrey and Valérie Urbain will ensure a smooth and orderly transition period until the renewal of the Euroclear Board member mandates at the General Meeting on 3 May 2024. Thereafter, Valérie Urbain will become the Group CEO.
Lieve Mostrey has been leading Euroclear as Group CEO since January 2017 and, in July 2023, it was announced that she would retire as CEO of Euroclear. Lieve joined Euroclear in October 2010 as Executive Director and Chief Technology and Services Officer. Prior to Euroclear, she was a member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Fortis....
