At the Farad Finance Forum held yesterday in Luxembourg, Cristina Ungureanu, Head of Corporate Governance at Eurizon, had a speech about "The role of governance in supporting Gender Equality in the financial industry". Cristina Ungureanu stated:
"According to me, the drive for gender diversity within organisations is not simply satisfying a sense of social justice, it is actually a business case, based on concrete examples and studies demonstrating that organisations perform better when there is diversity at the leadership level. Women are not placed just to fill quotas.
