Nucleus Euro-Advisers (NEA) has received in December 2009 the final approval of the Commission Bancaire, Financière et d’Assurance (CBFA - Belgian regulator) for the acquisition of Asco Life (a life office of the group Ackermans Van Haaren) and its subsequent merger with Patronale Hypotheekmaatschappi, a small Belgian mortgage bank incorporated in 1926. After completion of the transaction, NEA will hold 26% of the share capital of the new life office which will operate out of Brussels under the name of Patronale Leven.
