Luxembourg’s investment funds sector as a whole is experiencing a sustained period of evolution and growth, driven by European Union and national legislation but also changes in the broader industry. One very notable element of growth is the global trend toward democratisation – also described as retailisation – access to alternative investment strategies including but not limited to European Long-Term Investment Funds ELTIFs).
