ING: In Luxembourg, 78% of mobile banking users are more in control of finances

In fact, 65,3% of the residents of the Grand-Duchy who use mobile banking say they make use of that channel once a week! A higher savings rate thanks to mobile banking and alerts … Another interesting result of the survey: respondents who regularly use mobile banking and alerting systems proposed by some banks are more inclined to save regularly than those who do not make use of these features, according to the figures. For those who use mobile banking and the alerting system proposed by their bank, the figure is 61% and for those who do not use them, the percentage of regular savers is 51%.   The most demanded alert types are those related to account balances, credit reimbursements and overdrafts.
