Aviva Investors today announced it has opened an office in Utrecht and appointed Catrinus van Willigen as Managing Director for the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux) countries as part of the firms strategic ambitions to grow assets in the region. The new hire and market entry comes against the backdrop of Aviva Investors recent mandate wins from Philips Pensioenfonds and Stichting Pensioenfonds Medisch Specialisten (SPMS) both in the top 20 largest pension funds in the Netherlands.
