Frederic BILAS, CEO of Apex Fund Services S.A. comments on the latest CSSF statistics on the continued growth of the funds market in Luxembourg.
CSSF recently published the 2021 year-end statistics on the Luxembourg Investment Funds market. Despite the ongoing impacts and constraints of the pandemic, the net assets of Luxembourg funds reached an all-time high of EUR 5.9 Trillion, which is a year-on-year increase of EUR 886 Bn or +17.8%.
Part I UCIs remain very strong, accounting for 84% of total assets at year-end, compared to 83.6% one year before.
