LuxembourgforFinance : Swedish private equity group EQT establishes its fund management hub in Luxembourg

Having decided in 2012 to manage future funds onshore, leading Swedish private equity company has taken the next step in this process by creating one hub for future domiciliation of funds in Luxembourg, thus harmonizing and future-proofing its fund management. EQT says that the decision to concentrate its fund management to Luxembourg is based on the predictability needed to ensure a top-quality product and service level.   The consolidated hub for General Partners is managed under the EU directive for Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMD) and is a transparent and long-term solution, beneficial for both investors and other stakeholders.
