Frequently, the broad discussion on the shortage of skilled workers only centers on the labor force available in the labor market. This alone leads to the following consequence: the competition for employees is bound to become more and more like the competition for customers in terms of intensity and “sophistication”.
Against this backdrop, our following analysis examines the importance of employee retention and shows what steps banks and companies in general can take to counteract staff shortages in their own organization.
