Initiated by the ABBL and encouraged by the University of Luxembourg through the Luxembourg School of Finance (LSF), «Research for Finance», held on 3 June 2009, marks the first official dialogue between the Luxembourg academic world and financial industry stakeholders. This event corresponds to the vision for an increased interaction between research and business, and constituted an opportunity to discuss priority topics for both the field of academic research and the financial sector. Analyising recent developments as well as identifying new opportunities for the coming years for Luxembourg’s financial centre were the aim of the five workshops of this seminar, which brought together high representatives of the financial sector and academics.
