The firm’s Board of Directors has confirmed the appointment of Claude Marx as its Chief Executive Officer on 15 May 2014. Mr Marx took over as interim head of the company in December 2013. He joined Lombard International Assurance in 2011 as Executive Director after 17 years with HSBC Private Bank in Luxembourg where he was deputy Chief Executive Officer. Commenting on the appointment, Norbert Becker, Chairman of the Board, said: "Claude has significant experience in the wealth management sector and in-depth knowledge of the legal, tax and regulatory environments in both Luxembourg and further afield. His connections, expertise and strategic insight are extremely valuable and I am confident that the company will continue to grow and develop strongly under his leadership"...
