On June 29th, at the Philharmonie, the Junior Chamber International of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg (JCI, Jeune Chambre Economique du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg asbl; www.jcLuxembourg.com) organized the third award ceremony of the "Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg” (www.cyel.lu) during which the winner of the 2009 edition was announced. During this ceremony, which was rich in emotions, Silvain Zimmer (Founder, CTO) of the company Jamendo, won the trophy for the young entrepreneur of the year 2009 in Luxembourg, as well as EUR 1,700. Jamedo, from the contraction between "Jam" and "crescendo" is an innovative platform for the legal downloading of free and unlimited music.
