It’s hard to imagine anyone in the recruitment industry not being familiar with social media sites likes LinkedIn that act as a huge database for the professional lives of millions of people and yet, just over ten years ago, some of us were still using fax machines.
My career started in London where I worked in recruitment for a firm that insisted all CVs had to be sent by fax to clients – although email was already widespread it was banned from use.
