What do you think of the pace of discussions of Serbia’s membership of EU?   The membership in the EU remains the top priority of the Serbian government. This goal is supported by all parties in the National Assembly and the majority of our citizens. Around 55 per cent of Serbian citizens are in favour of membership despite the awareness that the process of accession will be neither simple nor quick. Moreover, a higher percent of citizens are supporting overall reforms in economy and state administration that are underpinning the process of our accession.   Following the adoption of the framework for accession negotiations by the Council in December 2013, the first Intergovernmental Confe-rence with Serbia was held in January 2014.
