Background and Legislative Timeline
The loi du 5 mai 2026 concernant des mesures destinées à assurer un niveau élevé de cybersécurité transposes Directive (EU) 2022/2555 of 14 December 2022 (the "NIS2 Directive") into Luxembourg law. The text was adopted by the Chamber of Deputies on 28 April 2026 and the law was published in the Luxembourg Official Journal (Mémorial A n° 225) on 6 May 2026.
